 dpAppManager© - A Network Deployment Solution for Windows NT/2000 dpAppManager© provides a simple and easy to use administrative solution to remote automated deployment of installation packages to Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 workstations. Utilizing the networking administrative functions of the Windows NT engine, dpAppManager© builds upon this framework with remote deployment functions and provides administrators a centralized deployment control mechanism. Using a minimal footprint approach, client-side communications are handled through the dpAppManager© Client service installed on each target system. The client service may be configured to conduct passive response requests, whereby the Administrator Console pushes all package updates to the workstation.
