For the past two years Hamilton College has been working with digiploy™ on developing a custom-built application to automate how our students connect to the campus network each Fall. Prior to working with digiploy™ our process for connecting students to the network was very labor intensive (over 25 students and 5 full-time employees worked very long hours assisting students individually each Fall). What was needed was an automated method for getting students connected to our network, but we did not have the knowledge or staffing available to develop and manage the process for automating this work. The people at digiploy™ are a tremendous partner of Hamilton's in helping us develop our custom automated network installation application. digiploy™ engineers and project managers listen to our issues, research alternatives for us, address each of our needs, planned each phase of development, and perform all of the application programming and testing for us. Using digiploy™ to help us develop our automated network installation application has saved us a great deal of staff and support time, provided Hamilton students with an easy-to-use application, and provided our ITS department with a team of experts we can rely on each year to support us in this process which is critical to our start of semester activities.
